Edmond Man Says Cheap Drug for Dogs Cured His Cancer

Joe Tippens, an Edmond, Oklahoma resident, has an extraordinary story that has captivated the attention of many, including cancer researchers. Diagnosed with small cell lung cancer, Joe was given just three months to live. The cancer had spread to his stomach, neck, liver, pancreas, bladder, bones, and beyond, leaving him with a grim prognosis and a rapidly deteriorating body weight.

In a desperate bid for survival, Joe turned to an unconventional source of hope: a dog dewormer called fenbendazole. This suggestion came from a veterinarian, and despite his initial skepticism, Joe decided to try it, combining it with vitamin E supplements and CBD oil. Remarkably, just three months later, Joe’s cancer was gone.

A Story That Challenges the Conventional

“My stomach, my neck, my liver, my pancreas, my bladder, my bones — it was everywhere,” Joe recalled. When told to call hospice and say his goodbyes, Joe chose a different path. “About half the people think I’m just crazy,” he said, acknowledging the skepticism he faces. But his story, detailed on his blog “My Cancer Story Rocks,” has inspired many to look beyond traditional treatments.

The Joe Tippens Protocol

The regimen Joe followed, now known as the Joe Tippens Protocol, includes:

  • Fenbendazole: 222 mg per day with food
  • Curcumin: 600 mg (2 pills) per day
  • CBD oil: 25 mg sublingually each day
  • Vitamin E (optional): 400-800 mg per day

Joe credits this combination with saving his life, a claim that has intrigued researchers like Stephen Prescott, president of the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation. Although initially skeptical, Prescott acknowledged that there is interesting background to this treatment, and he is now working with Joe to organize a rigorous clinical study.

A Growing Community and Continued Research

Joe’s story has not only kept him alive but has also inspired over 40 other success stories. His blog has been read by over 100,000 people, many of whom are seeking hope and alternative treatment options. Joe remains cancer-free as of 2024 and continues to update his followers about his health and ongoing research into fenbendazole.

An Ongoing Quest for Better Solutions

Joe’s journey started when he heard about a scientist at Merck Animal Health who used fenbendazole to cure her stage 4 brain cancer. This discovery led Joe to develop his protocol, which he has faithfully followed since his initial diagnosis. His ongoing research aims to refine and potentially improve the protocol further.

Joe Tippens’ story is a testament to the power of hope, unconventional thinking, and the relentless pursuit of solutions in the face of seemingly insurmountable odds. While his method is unconventional and still under scrutiny, it offers a beacon of hope for those willing to explore every possible avenue in their fight against cancer.
